This week, 42 of our Key Stage 2 children took part in the first round of the South Craven Cluster Cross Country event at South Craven school. The first 8 runners in each category will progress to the Craven final. Our children did remarkably well, coming 5th place overall out of 10 schools and 6 of our children have been successful in making it through to the next stage.
Thank you to all the parents that went to support the runners and to Mrs Whitehead and Miss Baldwin for making this event happen for the children and for being the official 'Team Sutton' cheering squad!
Well done to everyone that took part, you did yourself and your school proud.
