On Thursday a group of year 3 and 4 children made a visit to Nell Bank Outdoor Centre in Ilkley as guests of the Ogden Trust. The Sutton CP children were joined by other children from 5 other local schools and spent the day exploring and investigating how Early People were amazing scientists. They learned how Stone & Iron Age people understood about the use of animals, their habitats, how to use different rocks including flint and chalk, how to make fire and how to build effective structures. The children worked brilliantly together with children from other schools and were a credit to our school.
