On Monday 10th June we were visited by Yazi, a Muslim Educator from Skipton, who taught us many amazing things about her faith and culture as an Islamic woman. The children had an opportunity to dress up in some traditional Islamic dress, make chapattis, write in Arabic and ask questions to build their understanding of the beautiful traditions and celebrations that Yazi spoke of.
A fantastic opportunity for everyone and we look forward to more immersive experiences over the course of next year.
